About My Approach

City Councillors are the advocates, representatives and decision makers at the municipal level. We cannot be those things without listening to the ideas, concerns and challenges our community face

Below is my three pillars approach:

Connection, Empathy, and Collaboration.

Connection

The citizens of North Bay know our community the best.

I will meet and listen with individuals and groups to explore ideas and opportunities.
I will help break down the silos at City Hall and work towards creating an environment that is equitable and open to the North Bay community.
I will respond to communications in a timely manner.

Empathy

We need to stop leaving people behind.

I will support the many vibrant cultures and arts communities in North Bay.
I will focus on building neighbourhood pride so that everyone feels safe where they live, learn and play.
I will advocate for improving the City's strategic plan, including steps and targets that puts the social determinants of health first.

Collaboration

The future of North Bay needs everyone to work together.

I will bring climate change and the environment to the forefront in decision making at City Hall.
I will promote opportunity and engage people to lead initiatives that advocate for our community's wellbeing.
I will engage more voices and acknowledge the perspectives of our community members.
