My name is Maggie Horsfield.
 

I am a proud resident of the North Bay community and ready to represent you as the Deputy Mayor and a North Bay City Councillor. 
 

I am solution-driven and will work with and for you as your City Council representative.

 

I will bring my energy to City Hall.

MAGGIE'S STORY

Maggie Horsfield is a lifelong resident of North Bay. She holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Global Development Challenges from the University of Edinburgh and a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in Political Science and History from Nipissing University.

Currently, Maggie serves on the North Bay Police Service Board, the District of Nipissing Social Services Board (DNSSAB), and Heritage North Bay Board. She is also the Chair of the Lindsay Weld Centre for Children Board of Directors. Previously, she served on the boards of Near North Crime Stoppers and the North Bay & District Chamber of Commerce, where she chaired the Young Professionals Committee. Maggie works at Nipissing University as the Government & Foundations Relations Officer in the President’s Office. In 2023, Maggie received the Distinguished Alumni Award from Nipissing University and in 2020, she received the North Bay & District Chamber of Commerce Young Professional of the Year Award. For several years, Maggie was a St. John's Ambulance Therapy Dog Handler with her dog, Nixon.

Maggie lives with her husband, Kody,  their son and their dog just outside the downtown core in the West End of North Bay.
